Hello and welcome to my portfolio, a visual story of my travels and adventures. Because a picture is worth a thousand words, take some time to escape through each of them and see the world through my photographer’s eyes.
Who am I?
But in fact, who is hiding behind the camera? I’m Mathieu, a French photographer and filmmaker based in Lyon. Passionate about photography for more than 10 years, I first started with urban architecture. But, being a nature fan, I have since expanded my shots to landscapes and aerial photos by drone.
My favorite time to take a picture? Without any doubt the golden hour because the sunrise and sunset offer a particular light which gives a certain atmosphere to the shots.

Each of the photos on this site has been edited to represent the visual experience as I lived it. Editing a photo sometimes means spending hours of work on the same image and then starting over. And this is fully part of the creative world that drives me.
