630km hiked, 46 000m of elevation gain: the recipe of my most beautiful hikes in the French Alps and the Massif Central.
With shoes or snowshoes, simple stroll or long hike; you will find below a selection of the hikes that have inspired me the most (lakes, summits, panoramas…). For each of them, you will find a description based on my experiences and feelings as well as a direct link to the rundown on a specific website. Thus, you will be able to learn more about the itinerary but also download the map or the path in .gpx format to enjoy it on your phone or GPS watch.
Note for the section “the most beautiful snowshoe hikes”: be sure to check the snow and avalanche bulletins (BRA Météo France, outil YETI Camptocamp) and to be equiped accordingly (avalanche transceiver, snow probe, etc.) before embarking on a winter route.
